The Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Sciences (UPSIFS) has invited applications for various courses for the academic year 2023-24. The institute is affiliated with the National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
Integrated B.Sc Forensic Science
The eligibility criteria for this course is passing or appearing in 10+2 (or its equivalent) in Science, Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Mathematics with at least 60% for General/OBC/EWS category candidates and 55% or equivalent for SC/ST and PwD category candidates.
One Year PG Diploma in Forensic Ballistics & Explosive
The eligibility criteria is a Bachelor's degree in any Science/Forensic science/medicine/Pharmacy with at least 50% for General /OBC (NCL)/EWS category candidates, and 45% or equivalent for SC/ST and PwD Category candidates.
One Year PG Diploma in Forensic Cyber Security,
The eligibility criteria is a graduate degree from any discipline with a minimum of 50% for General /OBC (NCL)/EWS category candidates, and 45% or equivalent for SC/ST and PwD Category candidates.
One Year PG Diploma in Forensic Document Examination,
The eligibility criteria is a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Science/Medicine/Forensic Science/Pharmacy/Engineering with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
One Year PG Diploma in DNA Forensics,
The eligibility criteria is a Bachelor's degree in any Science/Forensic science/medicine/Pharmacy with at least 50% for General /OBC (NCL)/EWS category candidates, and 45% or equivalent for SC/ST and PwD Category candidates.
