Admission Announcement: Ph.D. Programs for Academic Session 2023-24

Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET), a renowned center of academic excellence, is pleased to announce admissions to its PhD programs for the academic year 2023-24.

Important Dates:

• Last Date for Submission of Applications via Email: Up to 26th September 2023
• Date of Interview/Presentation: 5th October 2023, starting at 9:00 A.M. (In the respective department after submission of original application and documents, along with the original Demand Draft of applicable fees)

2. Full-time Scholars without Institute Fellowship
3. Part-time Scholars
4. Engagement of Research Assistants
5. Admission of Working Professionals in Ph.D. Executive (Part-Time) Program

Eligibility Criteria for Candidates with GATE/NET Qualification (2019 onwards):

• Candidates who have qualified GATE/NET in Engineering, Technology, Sciences, Humanities & Management within the last 5 years (Year 2019 onwards) are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission of Working Professionals in Ph.D. Executive (Part-Time) Program:

• Reputation of the Company/Organization:
  • Companies (private/government), research organizations, Ministries of Central and State Governments where the candidate is presently employed should have a well-established reputation and image.
  • In cases where the department is uncertain about the reputation of the company/organization, a committee comprising of the Dean (Academic), Dean (R&C), and HOD concerned will review and seek approval from the Director.
• Eligible Employers:
  • Defence or other ministries of the Government of India or any other government organizations.
  • Established industrial research and development organizations.
  • Autonomous bodies and public undertakings excluding academic institutions.
