Recruitment of Scientific Officers in the Department of Atomic Energy

Bhabha Atomic Research Center has invited applications from eligible engineering graduates for training and later appointment as Scientific officer. Students need to stay in the institute hostel and, they will get a stipend of Rs 55000/- per month.

Options Available

1. One-year Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates and Science Postgraduates for
   the academic year 2024-2025 (OCES/DGFS-2024
2. Two-year DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme for Engineering Graduates for the academic
   session

Selection

Students can now apply for Two schemes. Selection will be based on a test conducted by the institute or by the GATE score they have. Students have an option to select in which way they need selection.

Eligibility

1. Students who scored a minimum of 60% marks in Mechanical. Chemical, Metallurgy, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Instrumental, Civil and Nuclear Engineering can apply. Integrated M.Tech completed students are also eligible.
2. Students Secure PG in Physics, Applied Physics, Chemistry, Geology, Applied Geology and Applied Chemistry can apply.
3. The age of the candidate shall not exceed 26 years as of 2024 August 1. Relaxation is available for OBC/SC/ST and Differently abled candidates.

2. No fee for Women, SC/ST, Transgender and Differently abled candidates.
