Indhira Gandhi Technological University for Women, Delhi has invited applications from eligible candidates for PhD Admission. It is now available for both Full Time and Part-Time PhD.
Admission Procedure Admission to the PhD. The program will be common to the two categories (Full time and Part-Time) of applicants.
1) Admission shall be made based on a written test viz. RAT followed by an interview.
2) The RAT Examination shall be qualifying only with qualifying marks of 50%. A relaxation of 5% marks (from 50% to 45%) shall be allowed for SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled
3) The syllabus of the RAT examination shall consist of 50% of Research Methodology and 50% subject-specific.
4) The application fee of Rs. 1000/
5) The RAT examination shall be waived off for the following applicants subject to the fulfilment of eligibility qualifications, and such applicants shall be allowed to appear in the interview directly
a. Full-Time female teaching faculty at IGTDUW
b. Sponsored applicants from organizations having MOU with the University.
c. Applicants who have qualified UGC-CSIR-NET/JRF or qualified GATE.
d. Foreign students who apply through the Ministry of Human Resource Development or foreign students under a Cultural Exchange Scholarship Course of Government of India.
The last date for submission of the duly filled application form for PhD is 27/12/2021
Conduction of RAT (Research Aptitude Test for PhD) (Offline) will be 02/01/2022
Result Declaration of RAT will be on 03/01/2022
Conduction of PhD. Interviews (for all departments) (Offline) will be from 06/01/2022-08/01/2022
