National Insurance Academy – Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)

 

Program Overview:

The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) offered by the National Insurance Academy (NIA) is a comprehensive program designed to provide students with a strong foundation in both core management subjects (60%) and insurance-related subjects (40%). The course aims to groom individuals for leadership roles in the insurance sector. The institution boasts a 100% campus placement record, with the highest CTC of the batch 2022-24 reaching Rs 22 lakhs per annum.

Eligibility Conditions:

  • Academic Qualification: Candidates should have completed a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks.
    • Students in the final year of their undergraduate program may apply, with the requirement to furnish examination results by June 30, 2024.
  • Entrance Exams: Applicants must have appeared for CAT 2023 / XAT 2024 / CMAT 2024 and scored the following percentiles:
    • CAT-2023: 75 percentile
    • XAT-2024: 85 percentile
    • CMAT-2024: 95 percentile
  • Age Criteria: Upper age limit is 28 years for General / OBC - NC candidates and 30 years for SC/ST/DA candidates as of July 1, 2024.

Selection Procedure:

Selection to the PGDM program at NIA is based on the following criteria:

  • Past academic record
  • Performance in CAT 2023 / XAT 2024 / CMAT 2024
  • Performance in Group Discussion & Personal Interview, including Knowledge of Written English.

Fee Structure:

The program fee for two years, covering tuition fee, professional, and incidental expenses, amounts to Rs 11,00,000/-.
