Jamia Hamdard Deemed to be University, is an institute of higher education deemed to be a university, founded in 1989. It was declared as a deemed-to-be University by the Govt. of India on the recommendation of the University Grants Commission (UGC) under the UGC Act 1956 in recognition of the services provided by erstwhile educational institutes established by the Hamdard National Foundation (HNF).

Eligibility

For UG, Diploma Programmes

• Candidates should be Passed the Senior Secondary (12th Standard/Intermediate) examination from the Central Board of Secondary Education or any other examination recognized by Jamia Hamdard as equivalent thereto securing at least 50% marks in the aggregate
• Completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2022 as per PCI norms

For PG Programmes

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from any University/Institution recognized
