Inviting Applications for Master of Applied Epidemiology (MAE)

The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Delhi, in collaboration with H.N.B. Medical Education University, Uttarakhand, and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is pleased to announce admissions to the India Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) Programme.

About the Programme:

  • A two-year, competency-based field epidemiology training program modeled after the US CDC's EIS program.
  • Leads to a Master's in Applied Epidemiology (MAE) degree from H.N.B. Medical Education University, Uttarakhand.
  • Offers hands-on training in public health investigations and interventions.

Eligibility:

  • MD (Public Health/Preventive and Social Medicine/Community Medicine)
  • MD/MS (Clinical or Para-Clinical)
  • MBBS with Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical, Para-clinical, or Public Health with 3 years of public health experience
  • BDS/BVSc with Master in Public Health (MPH) and 3 years of public health experience
  • MBBS with minimum 5 years of public health experience
  • Age limit: Not exceeding 45 years as of the last date of application
