Indian Institute of Teachers Education (IITE) Admission Notification

Indian Institute of Teachers Education (IITE), has invited applications for the admissions to its UG, PG and Research Programmes. IITE is a state public university of the Government of Gujrat. It is the only one of this kind university in India. Admission to the courses provided by the university is through an entrance test and 90% of total seats are reserved for students from Gujarat.

Courses

A. UG Teacher Education Programmes 

  1. 4 year integrated B.Sc.-B.Ed. (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany)
  2. 4 year integrated B.A.-B.Ed ( English, Gujarati )
  3. 2-year B.Ed. ( Gujarati, English (LL/HL), Sanskrit, Hindi, Urdu, Maths, Science, Social Science, Accountancy, BOM, Economics, Agronomy)

B. PG Teacher Education Programmes 

  1.  3 year integrated innovative M.Sc./M.A.-M.Ed. ( Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, English)
  2. 3 year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. ( Maths, Science)
  3. 2-year M.Ed. (Education)

C. Research Programme in Education

 

Admission to UG and PG Programmes

  1.  All eligible candidates shall have to appear in i3T – Integrated Test for Teacher Trainee conducted by the Indian Institute of Teacher Education (IITE) as per the schedule mentioned in this brochure.
  2.  To qualify in the i3T, the candidate will have to secure a minimum of 50% marks in the i3T.
  3. Admission to all UG and PG programmes will be given as per the merit list prepared based on marks of i3Tonly. 

Important Dates to remember

  1. The Last date for online application is 15.05.2022 (Sunday) up to 6.00 pm 
  2. Integrated Test for Teacher Trainee will be on 29.05.2022 (Sunday) at 10.00 am reporting time 
  3. Commencement of Programmes will be on 01.07.2022 (Friday)
