IIT Hyderabad’s Summer Undergraduate Research Exposure (SURE) Internship Program

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad has announced its Summer Undergraduate Research Exposure (SURE) Internship Program. The aim of the program is to introduce students to research areas and provide them with hands-on experience in their respective fields of interest. The program runs from May 15 to July 14.

Program Details

The SURE Internship Program is an excellent opportunity for undergraduate students to gain research experience at one of the top institutions in India. Students can apply to any one of the 18 departments of the institution. Here are some essential details about the program:

• Duration: The program runs from May 15 to July 14.
• Fellowship: Selected students will receive a fellowship of Rs.15,000 per month for two months.
• Hostel Facility: Hostel facilities will be available on a sharing basis.
• Eligibility: The program is open to undergraduate students from any recognized university.
• Application Deadline: Interested students can apply through the official website (iith.ac.in/research/SURE/) until February 22.
• Application Requirements: Along with the application, students must upload a certificate from the Head of Department/Principal/Head of Institution attesting if the applicant is among the top 10% students in his/her batch, on college letterhead. Additionally, students must prioritize three academic achievements in their application.
