PhD Admission at Indian Institute of Information Technology Kottayam

Indian Institute of Information Technology Kottayam invites applications for admission to the PhD. Programmes commencing from January 2023. Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kottayam was established in 2015 with the major objective to set up an education model that can produce best-in-class human resources in IT and harness the multidimensional facets of IT in various domains. It is one of the IIITs that have been established as an "Institution of National Importance" by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India under the IIIT (PPP) Act 2017

1. Computer Science and Engineering
2. Electronics and Communication Engineering
3. Mathematics.

Eligibility for PhD. Admission:

1.  Master’s degree in Computer Engineering/Information Technology/Computer Science/Computer Applications/ Electronics and Communication Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Mathematics or equivalent area with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of either 6.5 on a 10-point scale or 60% of marks in appropriate branches.
2. Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Information Technology/Electronics and Communication Engineering/Electrical Engineering or equivalent in a relevant area from any IIT, NITs, IIIT, etc. with a minimum CGPA of either 7.5 on a 10-point scale or 70% of marks. Such students will be awarded both MS and PhD degrees upon completion of PhD. Programme without any exit option during the programme.
