Applications are invited for Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) Training offered by Rajiv Gandhi Academy for Aviation and Technology, Thiruvanandapuram. The institute is a Kerala government organization approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation. The Academy offers quality flying training in CPL Courses for issue of CPL with Instrument Rating (IR).
General Candidates
Should have passed with 50% marks in 12th Std. or equivalent with minimum and 55% aggregate marks in Maths, Physics & English
SC/ST Candidates
Should have passed with 45% marks in 12th Std. or equivalent with minimum and 50% aggregate marks in Maths, Physics & English.
The total training fee for CPL with IR incl. Ground School on the single-engine is Rs. 28,70,000/-lakhs.
The same is to be paid in Five instalments as shown below:
The selection process will be based on either (a) and (b) below or (b) alone, as the case may be depending on the number of applications received
(a) Written Test: At the allotted centre which will be intimated in due course Syllabus for Written Test :
General English, Maths, Physics, Geography, Reasoning (IQ), General Aviation (10 + 2 level - objective type questions only)
Qualifying Marks in Written Test :
The cut-off marks for SC/ST candidates will be 5 % less than the cut-off marks fixed for the candidates in the General Category
(b) Interview: Date will be intimated in due course
Candidates will be shortlisted for interview subject to the marks obtained in the written test or subject to the total number of eligible applications received.
i) Proof of Date of Birth (such as 10th Class Certificate)
ii) 10th Mark sheet
iii) 10 + 2 Mark sheet
iv) Caste Certificate for SC/candidates
Applications are to be downloaded from the Academy website. A duly filled application along with the prescribed application fee and documents required may be sent to the Academy by post.
The application fee is Rs. 4000/- for General Category. For SC/ST candidates application fee is Rs. 2000/-. Payment is to be made through a Demand Draft in favour of the Executive Vice Chairman, Rajiv Gandhi Academy for Aviation Technology, Thiruvananthapuram (Payable at Thiruvananthapuram)
