Admission for Trade Diploma Courses at Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management

Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (CIHMCT Chandigarh) invited applications for admission for Trade Diploma Courses at Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management. The Institute was founded as a Food Craft Institute in 1973 and later upgraded to CIHMCT in 2006. It's affiliated with The National Council for Hotel Management, the Ministry of Tourism, and the Government of India. It's accredited by other CIHM Chandigarh campuses. The institute offers UG and Diploma degrees to scholars.

• DIPLOMA  IN FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICE (70 Seats) 
• DIPLOMA  IN HOUSEKEEPING OPERATIONS (35 Seats) 

 Eligibility

• Applicants should have 10+2 with English (Pass) candidates and 45% in the case of SC, ST and PWD candidates.
• Age limit: up to 25 years for general category and 28 years for SC/St category as of 1st July 

Selection process

• Admission for Trade Diploma Courses at Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management is strictly based on the Merit of 10+2 examination marks

• The merit list on the basis of 10+2 examination marks will be placed on the Institute’s notice board and website as per the schedule notified in the admission notice.
• The schedule for conducting Counseling of the candidates for allocation of seats in various courses by the committee on the basis of the merit list will be notified in the admission notice. Candidates must bring all original certificates/ documents at the time of counselling for verification. 
• 15% of seats are reserved for SC and 7.5% for ST as per Govt. Guidelines.5% seats are reserved for PH candidates, as per Govt. Guidelines. 10% Seats are reserved for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) as per Govt. Guidelines. 

Application

• Candidates must attach a Demand Draft of Rs.250/- as the application registration fee along with the downloaded form from the Website, failing which their candidature will not be considered. 
• Applications can be filled along with self-attested copies of certificates and DD should reach the Institute through Speed Post / Regd. Post only latest by 29.07.2022.

Important Dates

 The merit list will be displayed on                                                                  :04.08.2022                       

The second counselling to fill up the vacant seats, if any, will be held on     ;12.09.2022. 

 The last date for receipt of application in the Institute is                               :29.07.2022 

 Academic Session will commence from                                                        : 22.08.2022.
