The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 will be conducted on January 21, 2024. CTET 2024 registration has begun on the official website, ctet.nic.in. Eligible candidates are required to apply for the exam by November 23.
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is an examination to determine the eligibility of candidates for appointment as teachers in schools run by the central government (Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.) and schools under the control of the UT Administration of Delhi, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and Lakshadweep.
The CTET Examination covers two papers - Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is for candidates who wish to become teachers for classes I to V, while Paper II is for candidates who want to become teachers for classes VI to VIII.
