Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) Programme Admissions

The Kerala government, through LBS Centre, has announced the opening of admissions to the Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) programme in the state. This programme is a professional course designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to enter the hotel industry or start their own businesses.

Eligibility and Selection Process

To be eligible for the BHMCT programme, candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) conducted by the Board of HSE Kerala or an equivalent examination. Selection is based on the rank list approved by the Director, LBS Centre, which is prepared based on the score obtained in the Kerala Hotel Management Aptitude Test (KHMAT) entrance examination conducted by LBS Centre.

Qualified students can join one of the following seven hotel management institutions in Kerala:

2. Rajadhani Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Attingal, Thiruvananthapuram
3. KMCT College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Kuttippuram, Malappuram
4. Viswajyothi College of Engineering & Technology, Vazhakulam P.O., Muvattupuzha, Ernakulam
5. Lourdes Matha Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Kattakada, Thiruvananthapuram
6. Sree Narayana Guru Memorial Catering College, Cherthala, Alappuzha
7. Snehacharya Institute of Management and Technology, Karuvatta P.O, Alappuzha
