Institute for the Physically Handicapped, now renamed as Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya National Institute became a national institute established for the empowerment of persons with disabilities.Institute conducts different UG and PG Courses. The rehabilitation services provided by the institute are
1. Assessment of the persons/patients physical impairment to specify their rehabilitation needs
2. workshop for the fabrication of orthotic and prosthetic devices
3. Outpatient services
4. Integrated primary school
1. Bachelor of Physiotherapy ( BPT)
Course Duration: 4.5 Years
Eligibility: Senior School Certification Examination of CBSE 12th Standard of 10+2 Systems) or an equivalent thereto with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately
2. Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT)
Course Duration: 4.5 Years
Eligibility: Senior School Certification Examination of CBSE 12th Standard of 10+2 Systems) or an equivalent thereto with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately
3.Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics (BPO)
Course Duration: 4.5 Years
Eligibility: Senior School Certification Examination of CBSE 9!2th Standard of 10+2 Systems) or an equivalent thereto with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology, and English, provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately
The selection of a candidate for admission will be based on merit in the ENTRANCE TEST conducted by the institute as per the supervision of the University of Delhi
