The Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Mysore, invites applications for admission to its esteemed teacher education programs for the academic year 2024-25.  We offer programs to prepare passionate individuals for fulfilling careers in education!

Programs Offered:

• Four-year Integrated Programs:
  • Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Education (B.Sc. B.Ed.) with specialization in Science and Mathematics
  • Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education (B.A. B.Ed.) with specialization in English and Social Science
• Six-year Integrated Program:
  • Master of Science in Education (M.Sc. Ed.) with specialization in Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics
• Two-year Programs:
  • Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with specialization in Science and Mathematics or English and Social Science
  • Master of Education (M.Ed.)

Eligibility Criteria:

Detailed eligibility criteria for each program can be found on our website. Here's a general overview:

• A pass in Higher Secondary (Hr. Sec.)/ Pre-University (PUC) or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
• Specific subject requirements vary by program. (e.g., B.Sc. B.Ed. in Science stream requires Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics)

Relaxations:

• A relaxation of 5% marks is available for SC, ST, and PWD candidates.

Reservations:

• RIE, Mysore, follows reservation policies for SC, ST, OBC, PWD, and EWS candidates as per Government of India Norms.
