The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar invites applications for its two-year MA in Society and Culture program. This unique program, initiated in 2014, aims to provide students, irrespective of their disciplinary background, with a comprehensive understanding of key disciplines within the Humanities and Social Sciences. The curriculum covers literature, sociology, anthropology, political science, and history, emphasizing the importance of theoretical knowledge alongside real-life observation and fieldwork.
Eligible candidates admitted to the MA program can apply for the ‘On-Campus Employment Opportunities Program’ at IIT Gandhinagar. Selected students can work for a maximum of 10 hours per week during the semester and 40 hours per week during vacations, including mid-semester breaks. Remuneration rates range from Rs. 150-200 per hour, with opportunities for pay hikes based on performance and engagement.
