Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2024: Important Information and Application Details

Applications are invited from bachelor's degree holders and final year degree students to apply for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2024.

This test is for admission to 2-year MSc, joint MSc-PhD, and other post-bachelor degree programs at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. This year, IIT Madras is organizing the institute of JAM-2024.

Important dates:

• The last date for the online application is October 13, 2023.
• The date of the JAM 2024 examination is February 11, 2024.
• The announcement of the result will be in March 2024.

Eligibility:

The candidate who has either appeared or is due to appear in the final examination of their qualifying degree in 2024 is eligible to appear for the test.

Admission process:

Admission to the course shall be based on merit in each category and the number of seats available at the admitting institute.

Candidates should note that merely appearing in JAM 2024 or being on the merit list of any test paper neither guarantees nor provides automatic entitlement to admission. Qualified candidates will have to apply for admission as per the prescribed procedure.
