Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a listed premier Mini Ratna Company of Govt. of India, invites Online applications from eligible Vocational/ITI certificate holders, for undergoing one-year Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961. A total of 356 vacancies are available at different trades.

ITI Trade Apprentices:-

1. Electrician
2.  Fitter
3.  Welder
4.  Machinist
5.  Electronic Mechanic
6.  Instrument Mechanic
7.  Draughtsman (Mechanical)
8.  Draughtsman (Civil)
9.  Painter (Genl.)
10.  Mechanic Motor Vehicle
11.  Sheet Metal Worker
12.  Shipwright Wood (Carpenter)
13.  Mechanic Diesel
14.  Fitter Pipe (Plumber)
15.  Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic.

Technician (Vocational) Apprentices:-

1. Accounting& Taxation
2. Basic Nursing and Palliative care
3. Customer Relationship Management
4. Electrical & Electronic Technology
5. Food & Restaurant Management 

Eligibility

• Pass in X standard
• Pass in ITI (National Trade Certificate - NTC) in the concerned trades
• Pass in Vocational Higher Secondary Education (VHSE) in the concerned discipline for Technician (Vocational) Apprentices.
• Age 18 years as on 26.10.2022

DURATION OF TRAINING:

The duration of Apprenticeship training will be for a period of one year as per the Apprentices Act, of 1961. Those who have undergone apprenticeship training in any other organisation for any duration under the Apprentices Act, 1961 is not eligible to apply.
