PhD. Programme in ICMR-National Institute of Virology

ICMR-National Institute of Virology invites applications for PhD. Programme of 2022-23 from the eligible candidates who are bonafide Indian citizens and have a consistently good academic record. Candidates should have a strong motivation to pursue research in virology leading to a PhD degree. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, the apex body in India for the formulation, coordination and promotion of biomedical research, is one of the oldest medical research bodies in the world.

Eligibility

1. The candidate should have a Postgraduate degree in any branch of Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/Health Sciences with at least 55% or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA). Students belonging to the reserved category will be eligible for 5% relaxation.
2. The candidates should have a valid Junior Research Fellowship from CSIR/ UGC/ ICMR/ DBT/ BINC/ DST-INSPIRE fellowship or Teacher fellowship
