Admission for Post Graduate Diploma in Packaging at Indian Institute of Packaging

    Applications are invited for Post Graduate Diploma in Packaging (PGDP) 2022-24 at the Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP), Mumbai & Kolkata.  The Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) was established in 1966 by the packaging and allied industries and the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India With the main objective of improving the packaging standards in the country. IIP Head Quarter in Mumbai and Centers located at Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Chennai.               

Courses 

•  M.S.: Master in Packaging Technology
•  M.Sc: Master in Packaging Technology  
• PGDP: Post Graduate Diploma in Packaging
• CPEC: Certified Packaging Engineer Course 

Eligibility

M.Sc. and PGDP

•  A candidate should have passed the full-time (not by correspondence or part-time) Graduate degree examination in Science (12th + 3 years degree entire 5 years in science only)with Physics/Chemistry/MathematicsMicrobiologyor Biochemistry as the main subject or one of them as the second subject in the three-year degree or Agriculture / Food Science/ Polymer Science or Engineering / Technology degree of an AICTE/ recognised University with minimum second class. 
• The candidate needs to have consistently high academic performance and sound general knowledge.

 M.S

•  A candidate should have passed the full-time (not by correspondence or part-time) Graduate degree in Engineering Technology or four-year graduate science.

 CPEC

•  A candidate should have passed the full-time (not by correspondence or part-time) Graduate degree in Engineering & Technology

Age limit  For M.S., M.Sc. & PGDP maximum age 30 years as of 31/05/2022 (Age relaxation : 3 years for OBC & 5 years for SC/ST)and  For CPEC no age limit 

Selection process

• Selection to  Programs will be based on a Written Examination and Personal Interview
• The Admission Test of the Indian Institute of Packaging Common Entrance Test (IIPCET) is to be held on 8th July 2022 in offline mode in Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad & Ahmedabad.
• After the Entrance Test, A Personal Interview in July 2022 for candidates shortlisted based on their performance in IIPCET-2022.

• Applications can be submitted latest 02.7.2022. 
• The application fee is Rs. 500/-
• Candidates send a copy of the filled application form, with all relevant duly attested certificates along with the Demand Draft (if not paid online) can be submitted in person at the T & E Department, HO Mumbai or regional centres of IIP.
