Admission for Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management at NIHFW

Applications are invited to admission for Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management at NIHFW. The National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW), was established on 9th March 1977 by the merger of two national-level institutions, viz. the National Institute of Health Administration and Education (NIHAE) and thus the National Institute of Family Planning (NIFP). The NIHFW, an autonomous organization, under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, acts as an ‘apex technical institute’ as additionally as a ‘think tank’ for the promotion of health and family welfare programmes within the country and addresses a large range of issues on health and family welfare from a variety of perspectives.

Eligibility

• Applicants should have a Graduate / PostGraduate degree in Medicine, AYUSH, Dental, Nursing, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Natural/life Sciences, Management, Social Sciences, Social Work, Economics, Statistics or any equivalent qualification.
•  Candidates with work experience in the health/ development sector are given the priority. 

Selection process

• The selection is made strictly on, the basis of merit. Eligible candidates would be screened, based on their application and statement of purpose by a specially constituted screening committee. 
• Shortlisted candidates would then be interviewed and also the final list will be announced. 
• The final selection of the candidate is based on qualifications, relevant experience, statement of purpose and interview.

Application

• Candidates must attach a Demand Draft of Rs.250/- as an application registration fee together with the downloaded form from the Web site, failing which their candidature won't be considered. .
• Filled applications should reach ‘Director, The National Institute of Health and Family Welfare, Munirka, New Delhi-110067’ by 30th June 2022.
