Admission for MA (Economics – Specialization in Trade and Finance) at IIFT Delhi and Kolkata

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has invited applications from eligible candidates for the admission to MA course for the academic year 2022-23.

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) was established in 1963. It is an autonomous deemed-to-be-university. It has come a long way to successfully develop into a unique institution involved in imparting knowledge through research and training in international business and trade.

• MA (Economics - Specialization in Trade and Finance)

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate [45 per cent in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD) categories] and mathematics at the higher secondary or higher level.
•  No Age limit. 
• Candidates who are in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.

Selection process

•  Entrance Exam: An Objective Aptitude Test (based on Basic Mathematics and Statistics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International Economics, Public Finance, etc., the syllabus of which will be of undergraduate level Economics Programme). The duration of the exam will be a maximum of 120 minutes. 
•  The entrance exam shall be conducted on 9 July 2022. 

Application

• Application Fee For General / OBC/EWS Category 1,600/-, For SC/ST/PWD Category 800/-, For Foreign Nationals / NRIs $80/ 6,000/- 
• Applications can be submitted online latest by 25th June 2022.

Important Dates

Admit Cards available for Download              : 5th July 2022 (Tuesday) 

Date of Online Entrance Examination             : 9th July 2022 (Saturday) 

Declaration of Result of Examination              : Last week of July 2022 

Commencement of the Programme                  : Third week of August 2022
