The Council of Architecture (CoA) has started registration for NATA. This is an aptitude test conducted for admission to B.Arch courses provided in India. This test identifies the innate ability of a student in the field of architecture. Qualifying NATA is mandatory for getting admission to Architecture courses.
This year 3 tests are conducted by CoA. Students can apply for all three but not mandatory. Application for multiple tests can be done now, but need to pay a separate fee for each test. if more chances are taken, the best score from the attended tests will be considered for admission.
The aptitude test of NATA may comprise questions of Multiple-Choice type (MCQ), Multiple Select types (MSQ), Preferential Choice type (PCQ) and Numerical Answer Type (NAQ) and Match the following type (MFQ).
The questions will carry 1 mark, 2 marks or 3 marks and 125 questions have to be answered in 180 minutes. The medium of the Aptitude Test will be essentially the English language. Some questions may be in regional languages also.
