Online Application invited for NEET-UG 2022

National Testing Agency has invited applications from eligible candidates to apply for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for admissions in various Medical courses.

Students can submit their application from August 6th to May 6th 2022 up to 11.50 PM and can pay the fee till 7th May till 11.50 PM.

The examination is now scheduled for 17th July 2022

Application Process

There will be two levels in submitting applications

  1. Submitting information before the last date of application
  2. Submitting Information before the announcement of the result/ downloading the scorecard. Details will be updated on the official webpage later.

Application Fee.

INR 1600/- for General Category

INR 1500/- for OBC and Economically Weaker Section

INR 900/- for SC/ST/ Transgenders

Qualification

1. Pass with minimum of 50% marks in Plus Two with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-Technology. Students waiting for results can also apply (40% Marks for SC/ST).

2. Minimum 17 years of age as of December 31, 2022. Relaxation is available for eligible candidates.

Examination

  1. NEET 2021 will be a Pen & Paper mode examination.
  2. Total 200 questions in 200 minutes.
  3. Each paper has two sections A & B with 35 and 15 questions each. Students only need to attend any 10 questions in the B section.
  4. Total 800 Marks with 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark negative for each wrong answer.
  5. Questions will be available in 13 different languages.

Admission 

Admission to all recognized medical institutions and universities, and institutions under the AYUSH department will be based on NEET Score. 15% of seats in each institute will be filled through the rank list of the NEET examination. Some institutions like AFMC require a special application to get admission.
